L322 remote not working on new door

RR Vogue TD6 2005

Just had new driver's door fitted bought off breaker after argument with a metal post.

All done but bodyshop guy has phoned to say my after market remote fob won't work on new door, is fine on other doors. Key will work ok in new door.

Is it worth me re programming the fob again from my original key or could there be a chip in the new door so I'll be unable to get all 4 working off the fob?

Is it best to just leave well alone?
