Bought this for my own car (now sold) as I had the tailgate on mine repaired and re-painted. It came with the Overfinch lettering...
Looks like this has been repaired in the past to a pretty good standard, but surface rust / rust staining is just starting to appear on the inside, visible against the white paint.
Very solid with no rot / bubbling paintwork. Could be bolted straight on, it's very presentable, pictures make it look worse than it is. Please see the pictures below.
Has the odd slight storage mark, but overall I'd happily bolt this onto my Full Fat RR (if I still had one, and in white!). Alternatively, it could be very quickly flashed over, all the major prep has been done from the previous repair. There's no rot / holes / significant bubbling to be fixed!
The side strips / seals on glass have corroded - common problem, they can be removed or replaced. They go within 5 years, and it's a known issue with this later style tailgate.
* Comes complete with tailgate opening switch and latch actuator (untested, consider them freebies).
