L405 4.4sdtv 2013 - Key Fob re-sync

Can anyone please point me in the direction of how to re-sync a key fob - my partner dropped the unit - have changed the battery and checked using a key fob tester that the unit is transmitting but car is not recognizing it - it was working fine before it was dropped. My other key fob is working fine - many thanks in advance for help
