United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Mariana Black
Back for more…

I’ve been a member on here for a good few years. Probably over a decade and in that time span, these are the Range Rovers I’ve had interspersed with other brands (mostly Audi).

I love the L322 and the L405 even more.

I’ve been having a look at the market and facelift 2018 onward L405s look like decent money at the moment. They range from around £30k upwards with main dealers selling decent Vogue SEs at around the mid £30k mark.

I’ve got an appointment to see a Loire Blue example next week so I’ll keep this thread updated!

I’m pleased to say that a deal has been done on a 2018 facelift Vogue SE in Loire blue. I’ve bought it from Marshall Land Rover in Leicester. It’s by far the cheapest car with this mileage (72,000) when compared to others on Autotrader. It’s even cheaper than those from private sellers.

Obviously full LR service history. It’s got brand new Pirelli Scorpion Verde on it. The turbines aren’t diamond cut. They’ve just been refurbed in a mid grey.

The garage are putting a new MOT on the car as well as carrying out the 96,000 mile service which is a biggie involving new brake hoses all round.

Pics are below:

They had the car up for around £35k in January but it hadn’t sold. By the time I made my first enquiry last week, it had dropped to £31500. I was procrastinating for a while and during that time it had dropped to £30530. I viewed it yesterday and they wouldn’t knock anything off whatsoever. So I walked out.

This morning, it had been reduced further to £30400. So I called them to see if they’d accept £30k and they did. Plus the service, MOT and a new set of carpet mats too. I’m pretty happy with the deal I got.

Scotland 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Lovely car, excellent choice of colour Thumbs Up

I almost bought a car from them but when I dug a bit deeper on their "JLR Warranty" I found that it didn't actually mean I could take it to any JLR dealer and have warranty work done on it, instead they said I'd need to take it to the nearest Marshall dealer, which was a MB dealer in Blackpool!!!

Needless to say, I didn't but it. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

also be aware the next service [112k miles] will be an even bigger cost of around £1200 as it involves camshaft drive and fuel pump drive belt replacement.. Crying or Very sad ... - .- -.

Yes thanks for that Stan. I was hoping they’d do the cambelt too but technically it’s not due yet.

Pahhhh less talk of boring maintenance. The plans for mods are proceeding with gusto.

Orders have already been placed for gloss wrap material so I can wrap the side accents, side grills and boot trim in black and black lettering is on the way too.

Also booked in for a Ghost II immobiliser and the old Disklok is being dusted off too.
