Hi. Just joined you guys today to try and take some of the guesswork!
I have plugged into what I have kicking about, icarsoft lr03 seemed to be happy to read it. The only errors on there are HVAC pollution filter and BCM in transport mode.
As soon as I get to the bit where you access the BCM it says ‘communication failed’
I think this is contributory to the following faults.
• No central locking (remote or button, key in door works)
• No interior lights, rear ones work using the button but not on the doors
• Heavy power steering
Second problem is when I got it, the OSF shock absorber exploded and took out the airbag, I replaced the strut and it works well but when parked it goes a bit awry, I’m not sure if there is a leak, I will check soon. When parked it shows the strut I changed as being a significantly different offset to the rest.

It’s a bit slow to raise but goes into access mode nicely. I would guess it needs calibrating which leads me into the next bit.
What’s the best diagnostics setup for this, I’m looking at a TDV8 to keep it company so probably something that will cover both would be handy.
I do have INPA on a laptop but I haven’t plugged it in yet, obviously that’ll be useless for the V8.
Other than the above, it’s not a bad old bus and for £500 I can’t whinge!
