No idea if the GAP tool can 'restart' the suspension but likley a height sensor became faulty after being fully articulated. Can you get any height readings for each wheel from the GAP IID tool to see if any are out of range? What does it look like on the onboard 4X4 screen - any heights not showing level? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Thanks JayGee, I'll run a check once I find how to do so with Gap IID (I need an idiots guide) |

My autel can deactivate and activate the suspension so I would imagine the Gap tool could. As Jaydee says probably a sensor acting up but might be no harm to recalibrate it now anyhow. Current yokes

Given the wheels were dropped whilst the car was lifted I’d be inclined to check each of the height sensors to see if they have flipped though 180 degrees or even if the link arm has been broken off the sensor. |

Check the wiring and the connector first. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

No need to set it in transport mode. Do a recalibration once the new unit is fitted and maybe test the other sensors to make sure the pivots are free and not sticky or stiff. Like me you may want to buy a spare front and rear sensor to keep in the car so you are not left stranded by the side of the road if another one fails. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
