I am now the proud owner of a 2010 Vogue SE with 98k miles- more on this at a later date..

Anyway, my first post in your little corner of the web is to do with the 3 year RAC platinum warranty I've been offered for 2000 of my hard earned pounds. It seems like a pretty comprehensive package especially for a 14 year old car, let alone a Rangie.

So what do we think, should I bite the bullet and invest?

I just had a look at this, mines a 2010 and the site says it won’t cover cars over 10yrs old 2009 (2010 MY) 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography
2007 TDV8 Vogue SE
2005 BMW E63 645ci
2024 Porsche Macan

The rule is "10 years or newer, 100k miles or less".

Apparently the dealer has a good rapport with the RAC so they allow him to do either 10 years OR 100k miles. Obviously my car is at 98k so they're cool with it allegedly. In the end I went with the full 3-year warranty because it's probably going to be one of the worlds only post 100k L322's with a full(T&C's apply™) warranty..
