Draper vac pump - problem?

I got 9 litres out but the vac pump appears to have stopped working. Handle won’t press down easily and if I force it it just rises again. So it won’t suck anymore out, I’ve poured most of the oil out of the pump but no change anyone experienced this and if so what do I do? Geoff

Must have a blocakge somewhere, I'd pour 1/2 pint of white spirit in it and give it a good skake normal & inverted, see of that clears it.

If not either try to strip it or reclaim under warranty. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

Valve in the base where the outer tube enters needs pushing back in. Happens on mine every time I try to get all the oil out in one go. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Thanks guys it actually sorted itself after I left it a while. Got the new oil in but can’t read the level, need to reset the service indicator and car now thinks bonnet is open (alarm is quite load) all jobs for tomorrow as it’s going dark here. Geoff
