Recommendations for Engine replacement or rebuild?

Terrible first post, but hoping for your collective wisdom...

My lovely 2017 Autobiography SDV8 has had a catastrophic engine failure at 60k miles (FSH). No holes in the block but last sounded like a bag of spanners at 75 on the motorway with the dash lit up like a Christmas tree before I could pull over.

Any recommendations for a good company to rebuild or replace? Local dealer has quoted me more than the value of the car... cant really afford that

Googling it, seems a bit like the wild west

Is that a LR main dealer, as shortblock or full stripped engines are no longer available, hence probably a ridiculous quote so you go away as they know if you accept they've got a big problem. My SDV8 failed in December, still got a shortblock on order. Rebuilt it myself 7k miles ago and running perfectly.

I put up a post starting mid December about my experience if you want to take a look.

Seem to be more and more SDV8's failing, always spun big end bearings in my experience. L405 SV Autobiography LWB SDV8, finished in Aston Martin China Grey by ETO division.
