L322 2008 vs 2012 entertainment screen is sharper in 2008

Is it me or I am just missing something. I think 2008 3.6 tdv8 denso system is sharper and clearer to eye on screen than 2012 4.4 tdv8 Land Rover system. Is there some settings I can play with? I changed brightness but no good. It is just not as sharp as 2008. I saw some change possible on gap iid from Land Rover to denso for navigation but I couldn’t just play around without making sure. But in general even main menu is not sharp. Any advice? Range Rover 2012 4.4 TDV8 - current

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Mine looked dull until I removed the outer screen layer that was worn with Autosol chrome cleaner.
It now looks like new đź‘Ť Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Interesting thanks Smile I might try that. I don’t have any wear and tear it is just not as sharp as it should be, I feel. I thought maybe some resolution change on some secret menu settings can help but I guess nothing like that… Range Rover 2012 4.4 TDV8 - current

That’s interesting- I’ve recently got a newer one after my 07 and I thought the opposite- I thought straight away the newer screen was better- the rear screens on the newer one is definitely a lot better 2009 (2010 MY) 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography

Do you have the dual view system ? If so, that is less sharp / crisp than the non-dual view system I think. V8 or else ...

Yeah, I’ve got the dual view system.
That’s strange as it’s one of the first things I noticed- but to be fair it does make sense as the dual view will be more compromised as it’s basically doing two jobs at once- maybe my 07 screen wasn’t as sharp as I thought it was! 2009 (2010 MY) 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography

United Kingdom

from memory isnt the aspect ratio different between the two years...that could make it look less sharp. ... - .- -.

Makes sense, i have dual view...it is shame I see single view images in google and they are really sharp. Is there a way to shut down the dual view to make it sharper? just trying to think of a way. Thanks for the info. Range Rover 2012 4.4 TDV8 - current
