Does anyone know at what pressure the the diesel pump (low pressure in the tank) pumps at please?



Trying to buy some fuel pipe and need to know what pressure rating to buy

Have a read of the WM for fuel system pressure testing procedures, but I think 5 bar maybe the answer.

Thanks but is that the in tank pump pressure, I thought it would be less?

If I am reading this correctly is it 0.5 bar from the in tank pump and there is a secondary pump that pumps to 5.5 bar in the wheel arch??

From the WSM...

The low pressure system pressure is 0.5 bar up to the secondary fuel pump and 4.5 bar from the secondary fuel pump to the high pressure fuel pump. Return pressure is less than 0.5 bar.
