Got a new disc, seemed to work okay for a couple of days, then got a message saying not a map disc, could the player be on its way out? it jumps from working then no map!

Where did you get the disc from and what year is it?

the reason could be if its an illegal disc or if the players laser on the way out..

try the original disc and see if it works ok..

Understand that Stan, think possibly the laser is at fault, it reads then doesn’t!

I wasn’t asking for a link to purchase one Stan. I was only asking cause the last update disc for the Denso units was 2018 and anything after that is a copy. Hence asking the year.

pete, you asked where chef got the disc from so a link or name of the company would have been provided

Stan, I wasn’t asking for a link to where it came from, I was asking to see if it was from a reputable source, and if it was a copy to try and help as to why it won’t work properly.

Thanks Pete, so moving on, even my last original disc failed to read, just said it was not a map disc when it was!

Can I get this one repaired or just buy a replacement?
