Are you sure that this isn't the 2013 RRS? The roof seems to slope too steeply for a FFRR 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

It's just a random Photoshop guess.

Well I reckon that is going to be close then to what they'll be like.

The 1st set of pictures in this post http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic6277.html
are quite obviously artist impression, but they are so close to the ones adara posted that do look like a real vehicle, this must be what they plan on making, or very near to that.

At the moment I too think it's hideous & what on earth are they thinking changing the current design so much. Surely no one who owns a FFRR now wants to buy one that looks like a giant evoque - if you want an evoque you can buy one, but I want a full size range rover with the classic range rover look.

Maybe it will grow on us all, but it's certainly looking like a dramatic change of the classic range rover shape that's been around for 40 years.
I guess some will say that's why a change is needed - 40 years is too long, but in my opinion 40 years prooves it looks right and the small changes they made along the way have all been good improvements but without taking away the good looks and overall shape.

Oh dear I'm getting to be a real old fuddy duddy - it's never as good as it was in those good old days ! Rolling with laughter

I've no doubt they're going to spoil it with even more tacky magpie bling, but:

is not going to look like:

Mirrors are a totally different shape, it's just another Photoshop image done by someone who is guessing at how it might look.

Comparing the spyshot with the photoshop, the roofline and waistline do not converge in the same way. That would be a big change from this mule.

The more I look at the photoshop, the more it looks like a mock up of the next Sport rather than the next Full Fat.

But surely those mules you're seeing are more likely to be testing running gear etc rather than new body panels.
The LRX turned out to be very close to the Evoque, so one can only assume these artist impressions are what the new one is all about.
Ah well, time will tell........

The zebra-striped mules are a new car with disguise, the bodywork is not L322 or any lash-up thereof (compare with the pictures of the hacked-about L322-based prototypes from last year).

The Evoque is the production version of the LRX - there hasn't been a full-size RR concept for anyone to base their impressions on, so it's just guess-work in Photoshop from someone with no LR connection.

If someone can guess the size of those wheels I'll have a go at comparing the size of the L405 with the L322.

That is exactly what I was thinking. It looks like one of those Chinese knock offs. Very sad if this is the direction RR is taking
