I have a Milwaukee 18V Fuel 1/2" impact I bought in 2015. It's been superseded since, of course, but it's still going strong and has done everything I've ever asked of it - including working on 3.5T and larger light commercial vehicles, various crank pulleys, driveshaft nuts, suspension fixings, the lot. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

+1 for the Milwaukee 1/2 inch, others might be as good or cheaper but I've found mine able to do everything I've asked of it |

My Ryobi 400Nm has yet to be defeated by a fastener but it can take a while so if I was buying again I'd go for something with more power. Don't forget to use some good ear defenders when using it although one of the benefits of a more powerful one is that it will free a fastner more quickly than a weaker one so the noise exposure will be less. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I have one, it is. Get the flexvolt battery and it'll last ages as well. Bit heavy but a great piece of kit Dec 2021- 2010 Facelift TDV8 4.4 AB in Stornoway Grey. |
