Looking at a suspension refresh on my 2010. They pulled parts of the Mary Rose out the sea with less decay than on the rear suspension.

What kinda impact wrench is best, want to buy once, to make sure anything will come off without too much time as don’t wanna be spending hours grinding old nuts out.

Any recommendations, appreciate kinda off topic, mods don’t throw the Q out.

I have a Milwaukee 18V Fuel 1/2" impact I bought in 2015. It's been superseded since, of course, but it's still going strong and has done everything I've ever asked of it - including working on 3.5T and larger light commercial vehicles, various crank pulleys, driveshaft nuts, suspension fixings, the lot. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

+1 for the Milwaukee 1/2 inch, others might be as good or cheaper but I've found mine able to do everything I've asked of it

Dewalt 900nm, apparantly. Tis very good.

My Ryobi 400Nm has yet to be defeated by a fastener but it can take a while so if I was buying again I'd go for something with more power. Don't forget to use some good ear defenders when using it although one of the benefits of a more powerful one is that it will free a fastner more quickly than a weaker one so the noise exposure will be less. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
