The drivers side step has stopped deploying and I need a replacement part for my local garage to fix.

The part number is VPLGP 0249.
This has been on back order at the main dealer for about four months now and there is no indication when it will be available.

Does anyone here know of where I might get this OEM part?

I asked on the bot chat and could not really get a reply as to whether the price was for one step or both step.
Final price with shipping was £1025.00,

I think I would prefer to deal with a UK supplier having previously had trouble with suppliers in China.

I agree, I’m very sceptical of using Chinese suppliers. However, I had great communication with one on eBay recently and decided to go for it - very glad I did, great price for a great product (ob2 scanner).

They won’t sell individual parts, I already asked, as I wanted just two new steps.
