New to me 2009 L322 4.2 Supercharged

Hi all,

In a weeks time I will finally take the brave pill and get myself a L322. After few years of lurking here I've concluded that the 4.2 seemed to be the most reliable engine. I found a low milage (aprox 62K miles), low owner and good serviced car in Buckingham Blue. Below are a couple of pictures when I viewed the car a while ago.

I'm about to schedule it for a full oil service including plugs, diffs, transfer case, box and supercharge oil once I take the ownership of it. Next after that will be a review of the rust on the tailgate + sills.

In terms of in-car experience I will also order a Airdual Bluetooth-adapter.

Anyone has good advice of a good Iphone mount that suits L322?

Also wondering if there is any good tool for monitoring battery health/charge? I have an generic icarsoft CR Pro, would this due for L322?

Small update from my end and an picture from January.

The car has been great, during January I sent it for a major service covering plugs, Oil in gearbox + filter, front + rear differential, distribution box and in compressor oil.

Had some squeek from the back and noticed that the rear brakes were hotter than the fronts after driving also much more dust in the back. After som research on this great forum I learned that the callipers can get stuck. This week the L322 was in to replace both rears calipers. After removing the left rear wheel the mechanic noticed this one was really stuck. Now this is sorted and the car even felt easier taking off from the shop.

Next is a wash, MOT and summer tires. Hopefully no advisories at MOT then the car will be going for detailing to be ready for the spring and summer Very Happy

The car passed MOT yesterday! Very Happy
So happy the trend of passing MOT continues in my ownership, adding a picture for fun Smile

One thing that the technician highlighted was that the air suspension in the rear did not hold the height when they raised the car and let the wheels hang free. He said it could have been that they didn't know how to configure the air suspension correctly or it was a problem.

As I've never had any issues with the springs and they don't drop while I the car been sitting for a week I'm not sure if it is a small leak or if they did not lock the air spring.

What do you guys think?
