L322 4.4 TDV8 service required reset

Hi all,

I have read many threads regarding this. I am trying to reset the SERVICE REQUIRED message when the engine is started. It had a major service and MOT yesterday.

(NB I used the forum to research how to get the oil level indicator to show the new oil level after the service. The engineer couldn't do it. (In the service menu it said OIL LEVEL NOT AVAILABLE). It was the bonnet open, ignition on (not the engine) go into the service menu, select oil level, then double press the cruise control cancel button twice hack. Sorted!)

Weird.....

Anyway I have tried the hack I found on here for the service reset. (bonnet up, dvrs door open, press the brake and accelerator at the same time, and this resets the service indicator.

Only it hasn't ????

Your thoughts please,
