TDV8 to SDV8 Transplant

Hi guys have a 2014 l405 with the sdv8.
Suspected engine damage due to turbo failure.
I'm struggling to find a decently priced sdv8 engine but my question is , would it be doable to convert a TDV8 to work? and would it be worth it?
I know block and heads are the same so is it it just electrical and pumps and turbos are different?
Any help greatly apprisiated.
Cheers

The sumps are different but can be swapped. Another member fitted a new SDV8 to his L322.

Only a very slight increase in power of the margin often seen in a model upgrade with improved tuning. The TDV8 was only in the L322 for 2 years so a minor tune update for the L405 wasn't unusual.
