Having been unable to locate the ac drains underneath to check if they are clean, I found that it is easier to remove the kickstrip trim above the drivers feet and pull the carpet back to access the drain from inside. Unfortunately I cannot work out how to remove the footrest to gain sufficient access. I do not want to force the footrest, but the only part that looks like it may be a screw cover does not come off. If someone could confirm if I need to lever it off I will try or better still if there is a hidden bolt let me know about that first! Thanks
