Weird starting issue.

First significant issue with my RR in almost 4 year of ownership.
At first need to explain how I use my car with minus degrees. I always pre-heat the engine with FBH before start (FBH valve deactivated). Up to +5 I always use it.
Today first time in lets say 3 winter I forgot to switch FBH on. And, what a surprise, engine didnt start (-3 outside). First time I saw glow plug light on my dashboard. It was on couple seconds, then just click with starter motor and thats it, nothing. Dashboard dark. Try again, same thing.
Well, then I switch FBH on, pre-heat the engine 15min and start the engine without any problem, like always.
How its possible? Is there some glow plug in short-circuit and consume too much energy so there is not enough power for starter motor? Seems like that, no other explanation.
