Hi all,

So like many I'm working through all the small faults on a new to me 2012 4.4TDV8. I've had good success so far with the help of this forum. One of the issues I was having was battery drain. Tonight I washed the car, left it sit in the drive for a couple of hours and just moved it into bed. When I went to put the charger leads on the top of my battery was soaked.

So like others, my plastic valance has 3 broken clips and is leaving water onto the battery which may or may not be causing a small short.

My question is. These parts are stupidly expensive. For others that fixed this did you just Tiger seal or is there a better hack?
