Before someone jumps down my throat I have searched for this information but couldn't find an answer to my specific dilemma.

My L404 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography has now done 105,000 miles and the LR warranty expires in a few days time. LR won't sell a warranty for a vehicle over 100,000 miles even through they are bombarding me with emails and have called me twice to try to convince me to buy a warranty they won't sell me.

Anyway, I started looking last night at the usual suspects: RAC, AA, Warranty Direct etc. and very, very few companies will provide a warranty to vehicles over 100,000 miles.

Could someone please help if you have experienced something similar?

I also need breakdown cover, Green Flag have quoted £130/year that I would go with but one company offering both breakdown and warranty cover would be even better.

Finally, I intend selling the Range Rover around March/April as I will have a company car coming so this is only short term.

If you are selling in a couple of months self insure? surely. overfinch modified

By self insure do you mean to just pay for any repairs that might be needed?

If the engine blows I couldn't afford it.
