I have never really understood why people think low mileage = good.

yes the interior will have less wear but the mechanicals of a low miler, especially the engine, will not necessarily be as robust as a motorway cruiser.

Someone was prepared to pay a significant premium for a low mileage 2009 vehicle.
I think I frequent longer trips are better than many short journeys so it is probably a good long term purchase. Certainly a good long termer if looked after.
