L405 Side vents - Does silver or painted look best?

What are the group's thoughts on leaving the side vents Atlas Silver on a Santorini L405 or matching them to the body paint colour? Sometimes I feel the silver side vents on the doors are a bit flashy but other times it feels like they are an important and distinctive styling feature of the L405, something to embrace and not be shy of. Thoughts?

I think it looks very good as it is. Compliments the lovely wheels and breaks up the black slab effectivly.

I'm really undecided, they look fantastic in every permutation, especially when shiney and clean. First time FFRR owner

Depends on the colour, black IMHO looks better with Silver.

Grey for example (OTOH) looks better body colour:

I’m planning to take mine from black to silver on my Loire blue car.

Black looks nice but I prefer the more classy image the silver projects. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I'd leave as it is, works with the wheels, breaks up the sides and is a nice styling feature. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Those are striking! I would go with those if I knew where to get them...

Here is where I'm at (only because you asked, and forgive the grammar...)
I was stalking a Liore Blue with the silver gills - that was a BEAUTIFUL truck... someone thought it was worth more than I did... I think the Blue/Silver is stunning, sophisticated, breathtaking, insert adjective here... I like the Grey (both of them) with the silver...
With the Black - I think the silver is too much of a contrast. Kind of cuts the truck in half. I like the little accent at the sill. Here is Donna the Diesel 2016 Td6 (AutoTrader pic from when I was stalking her)
