EAS Fault

Hi Guys,
This morning while on my way home from some shopping had the "Air suspension inactive" come up. Didnt htink much of it as 9/10 its reset itself or a quick left to right has sorted it.
When its come up before I've still had the light on the control unit. Now i have nothing. Is this a dealer reset or RAC type reset? If it is a RAC reset does anyone have one in the NW that would be kind enough to reset for me and let me have a look over theirs before I buy one?
Cheers

Cool. Do you know if the hard faults give no lights on the display or could it be something else? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

not sure rob ,but all the ecu's seem to talk to each other so possibly the 'no lights' could be connected.

Stan,
Sorry think we have wires crossed, due to my mong style answer. When i have had prev Air Susp. Inactive message, the hight indicator and hight lock button have had their orange lights on, and the fault has cleared on its own or after a lock to lock. The ASI message is now coupled with no lights on the hight display or the lock button. I tried disconnecting the batt but that hasn't worked so I'm guessing its a RAC or dealer reset? I've just returned home from somerset 260 odd miles with the bloody display blinking at me all the time. thats more annoying than the suspension being Censored ! [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

rob, you can download the software part straight away and this will give you a chance to play with it before the hardware comes.

I"ve had this fault for a couple of weeks now. Started with a flat battery, but lock to lock steering didn't cure it. Checked fuses- all OK.
I called my local dealer this morning. They told me to bring it in so they could have a look. They took the key off me and drove it into the workshop. 20 mins later, the technician drove it back out and said "all done". He reset it on his diagnostic machine and better still, there was no charge! Thumbs Up He did confess to never seeing that particular fault on his diagnostic before- something about over energised front suspension. He wrote it down as he'd never heard of it.

My baby is all good again! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
