The market is telling you something you may not want to hear.......
If you don't need the cash I'd just sit it out until a buyer comes along. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Just as a guide around l322 pricing know of someone who traded a 12 plate 60k mile l322 in at a main dealers recently against an ex demo l460 and got £10k from the dealer for it.

I am totally cool in keeping it.

It's a lovely car. Might get a tower fitted, and look for a caravan !!!!

I thought about selling my MY11 4.4TDV8
But ALL the normal issues with the car have been dealt with
Plus some preventative which weren’t needed but i just did them anyway at 100k miles
Car should now give 30-50k trouble free miles

In my view…the car wont materially depreciate any further from current market price
So my motoring cost / mile next few years is only bumped up against a cheap and cheerful ford fiesta by tax / insurance / diesel MPG

I’ve never known prices to vary so wildly on older Range Rovers.

I put in a search for 2011/12 L322 and the prices started at £8k and went up to £28k Shocked

Whilst the £28k one was definitely a nicer car than the £8k one, £20k difference is just madness.

For cars that are 12 years old and cost a fortune to tax and insure and potentially a lot of £s to maintain some people are away with the fairies with their asking prices.

With the fairies?

I agree with that

Difference between seller and buyer opinion is huge…
when the whole second hand market is under pressure….and you can get RRs at auction for ridiculous prices, private seller asking prices at dealer asking prices are optimistic

If you have a good one then keep it but it's increasingly hard to justify buying one nowadays. I worked out mine costs at least £5k more in anual running costs than somthing more sensible but still retaining qualities of long distance comfort and moderate off road ability that is also ULEZ compliant. However when you factor in the capital cost (not even finance) + depreciation it still works out cheaper to keep the L322. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
