the obc will take time to get an average..mine is still reading an average of 25 mpg after a motorway run last week but all i've been doing since is town driving which normally shows 20mpg..

it would be great to have real time mpg not an average reading..

Pretlove, can you reset one of the trip computers and see if that gives you a different reading?

The majority of journey's my 3.6 TDV8 does is the 1 mile run to school and back each day and I am getting just over 20mpg for these short journeys - its over 30MPG on a motorway run.

I would only expect that type of MPG if you had a petrol engine...

maybe its ok then i did have the car running while i was sorting the satnav out the otherday so if on idle its only about 8 then that would explain it

yeah, have seen the horror stories.

That said if I could turn back the clock I would have got a 4.4 V8 and converted it rather than getting a TD6.
Still love the TD6 mind, especially when seeing mpg of 10.8 on a petrol!! I'm at 25mpg for my current tank. Thumbs Up FFRR TD6 HSE
