Passenger door won’t open

The passenger door on my 2013 AB won’t open. It seems like the latch has failed in a super locked state. Anyone know how to get the door open? Or maybe if I can get the door card off with it closed?

The passenger door should have a removable cap on the handle which allows you to put a key into it to manually unlock. The key blade is concealed in the fob; IIRC you slide off the chrome bit and that allows acces to the battery and also the key blade, which folds out.

Mine did this last year. 2013 AB.

I found if I had the key present it would unlock and open from the outside when using the handle. Wouldn't open any other way.

It was the latch that had failed.

Link below to the thread I did when it happened to me.
