Some helpful comments

Hi I have a bit of a predicament and wondered what your thoughts are if you was in the same predicament. I have 3 cars and only I drive them as the wife does not Drive
I have a 2007 4.2 supercharged that I have owned for 9 years and has been trouble free and I have a 2011 5.0 supercharged that I have owned for just over a year which has been trouble free but I only do low mileage and I feel I need to part with one car as the road tax bill for the 3 cars is £1800 a year plus insurance and maintenance costs which is only parts as I do my own maintenance when needed
So the question is which one would you keep?

I look forward to your comments

5.0L every day!! one, it is a better interior; two it is a better engine (and experience!!); three, it is more desirable and rarer if you cone to sell.

I'd pick the white one.
There's so many black cars out on the road I wouldn't want to look like the next man/woman.
I also like the facelift front better.

I might put them both up for sale in the new year and see which one sells first and keep the other one that may be the best way to do it then having to make a decision is out of my hands

But that way, by definition, you would be left with the least desirable/least affordable?

Not an easy choice I know.

Think I’d keep the newer one….

Hi,

I think if your talking economics, I'd hold onto the L322 if I were you, especially the SC ones.

We're at the point in L322 lifecycle that they're holding their prices or actually going up whilst the L405s are getting cheaper. Autotrader has a number of 405s under £15k with similar mileages to L322s.

There are also a number of <90k> £20k, a few £25k and one @ £30k.

I think the market is turning, and late model L322s going to go up in price, the die hards don't like the curvy ones, they want the boxy tanks and besides what nutter in Landrover thought it would be a good idea to increase the width by 20cm so they don't fit into a standard NCP car park gate ?

Watch this space, 405s are going to disappear into obscurity and the L322s are going to reign on as the true Range Rover after the "Classics". (P38s nah, none will survive outsode a museum except the H & H or limited edition ones they're rotting away and nobody cares about them).

Cheers

Andy

I’m not a lover of white cars but the newer car seems,
to me, to be the logical choice to keep. John
