I have a full size spare and my car didn't come with one when I bought it about a half year ago. I have realized that it is a rather helpful bit of kit as I suffered a flat some months ago. A kit seems impossible to find online and the price for it is outrageous too.

Could someone in possession of one please be so kind and take some photos of the hook and hanger so I get the general idea about dimensions and function and then I can try to manufacture a makeshift variant on my own?

Plenty for sale on eBay at reasonable prices. Not sure on postage to Sweden but I'm sure a secondhand one may at least provide the images you're after.

I bought one for my 2012 and it's a lifesaver if you need the spare out.

Its a completely different kit for the L405 compared to the L322 - works more like a crane than a lifting sling. I'll try to get a pic of it tomorrow if no one else beats me to it. Mike - MPx

Hi,

that looks the same as as a 494 RRS lifting strap (as I have 1 in a draw from our old 494RRS )

Mercy's pic also looks like a RRS as the load cover looks to be a roller type.

If there asking £30 on the bay then I might get some pics up on the for sale section for £10
