you can buy the speakers direct from JLR at not too bad a price - just double check which system you have as there are different connections depending what system you have! https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com 2011 L322 Autobography - a lot of bells and some of the whistles...owner with no idea!

Look for Harman Kardon not Hartman Kardon. Smile Ron B. VK2OTC

It isn't too expensive to make a big difference, so you're in luck.

First thing is that the Land Rover (Alpine system I think) DSP isn't the best at segregating the levels. The speakers perform way way way better by using your own DSP amp or by replacing the head unit. I have stock speakers and changed my head unit to an Android one. On the android head unit, I can customise the levels at different frequencies and the sound system is so much clearer and now really packs a punch. In short, you can isolate which sounds are handled by which speaker to get the best out of the system. There is a vast improvement.

Second thing is that the low range speakers in this car are what let it down really. Some good quality low ranges mean you can reduce the reliance on bass levels and therefore bring through more clarity from the rest of the system. GAS PS3M62 PRO SPL are exact retrofits for the mid range speakers in the doors and are only slightly more expensive than the Land Rover (Harmon Kardon) ones. They're reportedly very good. These speakers can be changed without the need to remove the door card (you remove the screws and level open the bottom of the door card). 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Another vote for changing out the factory speakers with aftermarket. FYI - The 2012 factory system uses 2 ohm speakers, not sure about the 2008, but be mindful of the impedance, especially if you are not going to add amplification.

I replaced mine with 2 way and 3-way component speakers from CDT Audio. I noticed a world of difference in clarity, especially on the low end after swapping mine out. I cant say I am a fan of the Logic 7 system at all, especially after swapping the speakers out, the music is so much clearer with Logic 7 disabled.
