[Wanted] Snow chains to fit 255/50 R20

Hiya,

Anybody got any snow chains they're getting rid of? My winter wheels don't fit the 5.0 and so I'm on summer tyres for the duration.

I have a set of LR chains part no VUJ000020 which are described by LR in the 2011 brochure as "for rear 18 and 19 inch wheels only". The 20" wheel alternative was a snow traction system LR005737, "for front 20 inch wheels only".

I recall some comments on here that the chains could be used on 20" wheels too, but presumably LR did have some reason for the differentiation, e.g. the chains might damage the wheel rims or parts of the car near the rear wheels.

I have never used the chains, and cannot say what the risks might be on 20" wheels. They are in the original LR bag and that bag is dirty, having had dogs sitting on it etc. and it has been standing in a garage for some time. I think the instructions are in the bag.

If you are interested let me know. Only Range Rovers since 1988
