According to the url on Autotrader's website that car has been for sale since 24 Feb, 23. Saxton might have paid a bit more for it than today's trade price. 2017 SDV8 Autobiography |

Brilliant work there gents, thank you. As I said, it's not my thing but a friend loves them. I've told him many times about this forum but he seems to leave it to me!

I have visited Saxtons a couple of times in the last few months and I must say that their showroom and cars are a very good standard.

Like I said it's the price they will give you if you were to sell it. They collect and give you the money, no worries about px etc. WBAC do the same etc etc

Interesting on values as they seem to have been all over the place over the last 3 years. They appeared (from asking prices) to go up about 10k in the year following when I bought mine (2/21) since then they've been gradually falling again...and I've noticed that the fall has accellerated over the last 6 months. In round numbers they would have been about £150k new so £75 is half price in 4 years. That's strong - in the old pre-covid market I saw around a 50% loss every 3 years so on that scale, the Autotrader price looks close. While I would never buy from them, Saxton have a significant percentage of the UK stock of these and comparing to the main stealers are usually well priced. You just need to hope you never need any after sales support. Mike - MPx

Currently there are no SVA-D on sale in South Africa; however, there are SVA LWBs (ZAR in brackets) on sale:

As an update to this thread, my friend went to check the insurance to make sure he'd be able to insure it and due to where he lives in London, most insurance companies refused to insure it or were quoting £6k plus.
