4.4 tdv8 2011 200000kms timing chain tensioner

Gday gents,

Want to know if someone can tell me if changing the timing chain tensioners are replaced after a certain amount of kms? Changing a couple of parts of the engine soon and would be a shame with everything more open at that point to change them.

Kind regards

searched and searched but couldnt find any answer to this question.

By timing chain i assume cam chain?
Accessory belts are at the front (2 for MY11 4.4) and are not connected with timing AFAIK

Not sure what a drive belt / chain is.

Timing chain replacement is about a 6hr job.

Normally when a tensioner needs replacement, probably the relevant chain / belt also needs replacement
Not sure on the 4.4 TDV8 if the cam chain has a tensioner
