IIRC it uses GPS & map data so depends upon the accuracy of that, there is no altimeter instrument as such, it's an indication, not a measurement. My L319 had a similar level of accuracy, I just used my Garmin for more accurate data - not that I really needed to know other than 'for curiosities sake'. |

I can't believe that customers would have tolerated an instrument so useless when the vehicle was new!

It's not an instrument, it's an indicator. I don't think we ever had a complaint about it, even from the more rural users. |
