First time playing

Hope this is allowed.
Just recently bought a 2012 4.4 West minister, which in turn prompted my brother to buy his lr3. He made a little video on it.

No pro editing skills sadly nor any skills on green laning. We just found a nice little starting bylane to try. I still have road tyres on it but it didn't even struggle.
I loved it, we are going to try to find a bit more challenging routes but this one is a good start for both our skill level.

Try not to laugh too much at how pants our skills are, I know it was slow but definitely didn't want to hurt the ol girl. Let me know what everyone thinks and if anyone knows any routes near Cambridgeshire it would be much appreciated!

IMHO you should not have travelled that route, it only adds to complaints that we damage the byways.

By all means do that route in better conditions.
Also do not feel that your driving was too slow you did the right thing by being gentle with the environment, many just plough on and creating more damage.

Again in my opinion lets be more careful in the routes we choose and the conditions we choose do do them otherwise these routes will be closed to us due to the damage caused.

I think one should always contact the local byways officer and or the Green Lane Association before attempting any off metalled route.

Yeah we definitely didnt want to damage the byways.
In hindsight you're probably right and we shouldn't of gone with the conditions like that.
We're completely new so I'll check that Glass association out and get clued up on how to help protect them further.

Education is a huge part of it and I'm keen to learn about how to protect it whilist enjoying them!

Not sure where you are in the UK but plenty of places in Cheshire/North Wales to take your cars with groups on approved routes.

Been on a couple of experience days and great way to get hooked in to local groups!
