Evening All,

So thought I would update on Timing chains for the L405 5.0 Supercharged. Be warned if you own a 5.0 Supercharged, it should not sound rattly at all. I have just had the timing chains and various other bits done on mine by a very good local garage, it now runs and sounds like brand new, in fact better than new.

Anyone wanting a recommendation for timing chains in Essex, I would recommended Chris & Dan at Cowdray Car Centre in Kelvedon, the guys looked after my Bentleys for a few years now as well as that's their bread and butter, but they are real engineers who know there stuff and have just done my Range Rover Supercharged timing chains and various other works. If you want a real service with real knowledge and guys that know how to rebuild engines then these guys are you're men.

Can't thank them enough for the work they have done on my car and would recommend.

I’m amazed how quiet my 5.0 L322 is after I did the chains too. I wouldn’t have said it sounded noisy before but it’s certainly much quieter after they were done!
