2006 Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged, 64,350 miles. Alvestone red.

I have owned the car for two years, in my time of ownership the car has had two services at my local JLR independent as well as having a "Bodsy" megaflush (May 2022 - I originally tried to book this in as part of preventive maintenance when I bought the car in October 2021 but this was the first availability he had).

The car was originally bought in Manchester by an HNW individual who took the car to the Isle of Man. I bought the car from a mechanic who worked on the IoM TT who moved back to the UK mainland just before Covid.

The car is the full Supercharged spec. It also has a JLR towbar (I have never towed with the car), JLR side steps, JLR detachable roofbars and a JLR dog guard (I don't have a dog)

The car goes very well indeed for a 17 year old car but it does have some minor bad points - upon setting off I intermittently get the "Tailgate Open" warning which then goes away as the central locking engages - I replaced the tailgate mechanism but this did not help at all.

During my ownership the car has been trouble free, bar a seized brake caliper.

There is no rusty/bubbling bodywork (arches are all clear). There is one minor blemish above the driver's door handle and there is a small scuff on the rear passenger side bumper.

£695 a year. The difference in cost between this and the lower rate is around three full tanks of petrol over the course of the whole year. That is what I tell myself anyway...
