OK, so it's not actually for a 405... the old Renault Scenic we have at our place in Spain sits unused for many months in a field by the airport, it's a great service, they wash the car, top the tyres up and charge the battery before we get there, and pick you up from the airport.

Used one on my L322 - make sure the output is >12.5VDC or there's no point...

Cheers chaps, I'll take a look at some, and yes we use a sun shield, at least it's white so the paint doesn't bake too much... Pete

my neighbour has a mini and he plugs his solar panel into a normal plug socket... ... - .- -.

Unfortunately I have to connect to the terminals under the bonnet as all of the cigar lighter sockets on my Range Rovers are controlled by the ignition switch. Range Rover 4.2 SC
