hi everyone, what years are the range rovers with the security issues..... Im thinking at buying one and want to avoid the ones with dodgy alarms?

AFAIK all of them apart from the last 405 and the 460 that's just had an update, but even those get nicked...

There are lots of things you can do to prevent or hinder theft..

Tracker, immobiliser, dummy OBD to name a few.... Thumbs Up Pete

It's easy to disable the keyless locking and re enable it if you want to. I've put an isolator switch on the OBD port circuit and a blanking plate over the socket. I would like to incorporate a small explosive device as well but that would be against human rights
