The NaviPlus in our 2012 L322 has worked superbly for the last ~18 months.

But, since I updated the software on my iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 17.0.1 this weekend it will no longer connect to CarPlay via Bluetooth.

I’ve tried forgetting the connection and reconnecting but nothing I see to try makes it work.

Any one else had this or has any ideas?

I’ve not had any issues since updating (also iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 17.0.1)

Every so often in the past I’ve found the phone does connect, but not fully. When that happens, I go into the iOS settings > general > car play and select the car from there.

Solved.

The update, for whatever reason, seemed to disable wireless CarPlay. Nothing from the handset could correct it.

Steven at NaviPlus guided me through how to use the wired setting only, as apparently this is needed until new firmware is released from the iPhone to fix the issue.
