[Wanted] Spare wheel lifting kit - L405

Hi All,

I have just changed my skinny spare for a 22" full size one, which weighs about 32KG !

Does anyone have a lifting kit they no longer need please ? I think the part number is LR085460 and it comes in a black drawstring bag

I don't have one to sell, but to chip in with the fact that my L405 did not come with a lifting kit but did have a full-sized spare. I ended up buying a lift kit off Ebay in the end - I think it was significantly cheaper than the OEM kit.
And it worked too, as I had the misfortune to end up having to use it Sad Current

The DIY version is for the L322. The lifting method is different for the L405, probably due to the powered tailgate ?

I also bought mine on eBay, but have never used it - for some reason I still lift the spare in & out, even though it's a 22 & I have the kit. (I run winter & summer tyres, so swap my spare every 6 months Shocked ) I really should try using it Confused

I haven't got round to putting the new spare in the boot yet as the car is at the dealers right now. I'll try it and then work out if I actually need it or not Smile 2016 AB SDV8 Barolo black
