If it's failed it won't be recognised by the system. Take it apart and check for water ingress/ damage.

The replacement unit I purchased on eBay also didn't work and there was absolutely no corrosion in that one. |

I could never get any used modules to work on mine ( have a stack of them) and ended up buying a new one. AFAIK once it's been used on the newer vehicles it gets locked to the VIN and can't be used on other vehicles but this may be wrong as someone has said they got one working this way. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Anyone got any idea about which wires supply power to the Parking Control Unit? Thanks. |

There's a wiring diagram in the workshop manual you can download from the Wiki. I looked at this as well when mine stopped working but it wasn't the issue. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
