Post Lift rod install question/maintenance | |
US Spec 2008 L322 HSE 4.4:
Good morning, I just finished up the last few key components of our L322 build yesterday, nothing fancy, Lucky8 lift rods, powder coated LR3 wheels and 265/65/18 Goodyear Duratracs. It drives fantastic with no rubbing at std ride height. I haven’t aligned it yet (made an appointment) and noticed after a drive, some scrub on the outter edges of both passenger side tires. Purely out of curiosity I checked the ride height to see if that may have any contribution because to the eye perhaps I saw a small deviation.
I’ll attach my measurements. It turns out the passenger side is higher and have a 1/4” difference in Left and Right on the front and +/- 3/4” on the rear.
Qiestion: using my GAP tool can I set the values = on all 4 corners? I was reading the instructions and I’m not clear if adjusting one side Vs the other will actually work or if doing so actually falls within “all four corners simultaneously” as the manual states?
Thanks in advance for any and all help. Have a great day!
PS: if anyone has any insight into a 4 wheel alignment after lift rod installation I’m all ears. I’d like to prepare myself for any roadblocks or unexpected issues if any.[/quote]
