Seat/ Steering Wheel settings

Good morning all
After several issues recently, keyfobs unrecognised, warning signs on the dash, and replacing of rods and track rod ends all attended to by garages I have this minor issue. Does anyone know how to reset things so that my steering wheel will rise and seat lower after switching off and opening the door.

Sounds pretty trivial after all recent repairs and concerns but it’s a feature which is worth restoring if possible, using the iigap tool for instance?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Dave

Go into the settings menu on the dashboard and switch on the lazy entry/exit feature. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

I'd disable it as I'd not want it to wear out the mechanism. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Seat etc.

Hi
Well I had a look at that and found that it has a tick in the box. As I say it was a feature until just noticed that it no longer working. I think I’ll have a go at setting up a seat setting on a memory button to suite me, I have only had it for five years. Rolling with laughter
Maybe it will come back on its own.
Edit
The steering wheel adjustment may be the problem here. A few weeks ago I had a new “steering angle sensor “ fitted which was causing a number of warning issues on the dash. Not a cheap fix with a local independent dealing mainly Land Rover vehicles. I have found this morning that although the steering wheel can be silently adjusted up and down, moving it in and out is now is slow and with a noisy judder.
Anyone suffered this issue? Obviously I can go back to the garage but anyone have any thoughts on the cause of this?

Thanks
