United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Tonga Green
Display shows "INSPECTION"

Hi all,

This has appeared this morning and displays every time I start the car. I've browsed the GAP manual but I can't find anything, so I guess it's a feature of the car.
Does anyone know how to clear it please?

It’s telling you it is due for a service.
Search for “service reset” on the forum for some information. Pop John

Many thanks but none of on 'onboard' various button/pedal solutions have worked and I cannot find the relevant section on the GAP tool manual. Any guidance would be appreciated.

2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

I had something similar on a new to me 2006 4.4V8. In GAP had a persistent "IPC RESET FAILED" every time I tried to reset the service interval.

I fired off an email to GAP and they said to do a "hard reset" and sent this link: https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic19547.html for instructions

I thought they were just fobbing me off with a generic 'turn it off and on again' response, but it actually worked.

Took 2 rounds of resetting Service/Test in the instrument pack after the hard reset, but ultimately it cleared it all up, and now the oil service interval value in GAP is no longer negative.
