Rear shocks faulty ??

Anyone had any experience of faulty Bilstein shocks put two on the rear with new arms hub bushes etc and drives like a dog as if the shocks have no dampening ??

I’ve got Bilsteins on the back of mine and haven’t had any issues.

I’ve read about having to exercise the shocks up and down before fitting on the P38, I wonder if yours might settle in a bit with use.

To be honest David I put them on and left next morning for France so have done about 3k on them I am going to whip them of next week and check they are the right ones it is possible that island may have sent out the wrong ones and to be honest I didnt check them.
It feels as if it has a dead shock on the nearside it skips round corners etc
Will let you know what I find

Popped it on the ramp and the shocks seem ok but noticed that the rear rear subframe bushes are shot so I am thinking this could give the feeling of rear wheel steer will order up some replacements but cant put them in till after the bank holiday and we shall see

Is the height right? I replaced my rears with Bilsteins recently too, and it jacked the rear end up like 3 or 4 inches. I went in with the IID tool and re-calibrated the height with the airbags all around and now the car rides like a dream. 2006 HSE 4.4 gasser

You probably disturbed the height sensors as it should have adjusted itself. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
