Time for new rubber?

My car has 275/40/R22 size tyres, currently fitted with Continental Cross Contact tyres. 3 have been on the car since I bought it in Sept 2018, when it was 3 years old and had 23,000 miles on it. Mileage is now 59,000, with the newer tyre going on at about 45,000 miles.

The older tyres date marks indicate manufacture in 2017/2018, so have done 36K miles and have around 2.5mm on them still. The newer one still has at least 4 mm on it, but a big gouge on the outer wall.

All this tells me I should replace all 4, so I’d welcome thoughts on suitable replacements. Many on here rate Pirelli Scorpion Verde, but given the mileage I’ve got from the Contis I’m tempted to stick with them. Has anyone changed from Contis to Scorpion Verdes? Any feedback welcome.

Thanks

Andy

Verde's will match the high mileage of your conti's but newer model Pirrelli all season tyres seem to be more popluar these days than Verde's due to lower noise but I can't say if this is offset by lower life? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
