ECU Fan

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for asking for help again.

I have had my new to me, Range Rover for a couple of months or so and have been fixing some problems. The last one bing the EGR temp sensor, which I will write about separately.

Whilst putting the battery surround back from this I noticed that the ECU has a fan, but there was no wire connected to it

I cant see anything around it that I can plug in so wondered where I should be looking.

I do have this connector by the positive terminal, not plugged into anything, but even if it was for the ECU fan there is no way it will reach.

So as well as the missing ECU fan wire/connector, what is the connector by the positive terminal of the battery?

Again thanks for any help, just trying to learn as I go. 2011 Range Rover AB 4.4 TDV8
